God made us and the world in a way for us to excel and enjoy.  However, we must not allow things we enjoy distract us from the most important thing, which is our relationship with God.  We must ever live in a way that keeps us ready to stand before God. 

Walking with God, Psalm 15 PT 2

This is a continuation and conclusion of the previous program and leads into the next segment of this study, which is "Enjoy life, but live ready".
We briefly consider a greater and deeper meaning of godliness.

Walking with God, Psalm 15, PT 1

Psalm 15 gives a few characteristics of a person who walks with God.  The message of this Psalm is that if you want to go to heaven you must live godly.

The Blessing of Walking with God.

To walk with God means you can't walk with the world.  If you want the blessings of Walking with God there are some simple principles of life you must adopt:
1. Be careful of the company you keep, conversations you have, and what you allow to communicate to you.
2. Meditate on God's word day and night.
3. Have a prayerful life so that you may develop a flow of the Holy Spirit and abide therein.

Part two of being faithful to live holy for Christ.

Faithfully live holy till the end.

Salvation is not a one time act and then we can go live however we want to live.  God saves us to live holy.  We must be faithful in our walk with Christ till the end.  Once He forgives us, He commands us to go and sin no more.

This is the start of our next and final part to the doctrines of salvation:  Faithfully live holy till the end.  A lot of people start with God, but many fall away.  You must be faithful and endure to the end.

Five things to do to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

In this episode we briefly review scriptures that show 5 things a person must do to receive the Holy Ghost.  This is not meant to limit God in any way, but to help people by giving them instructions on what they must do with their lives before God in order to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

When We Receive the Holy Ghost We Receive the Mind of Christ

Another reason we need to receive the Holy Ghost is so that we can obtain the mind of Christ and thus properly minister the word and purposes of God.  The Church does not function properly without being filled with and led by the Holy Ghost.
